What stick does Reilly Smith use?
Reilly Smith has been a key player in Vegas since being acquired from Florida during the 2017 Expansion Draft. Now an alternate captain, his role in Vegas remains as important as ever, though his name has popped up in some trade rumours as the Golden Knights try to get back under the salary cap.
Smith uses the CCM P50 "Gagne" curve, more popularly known as the Bauer P106 "Richards" (Blade 8 at HSM). Like most heel curves, this pattern is virtually extinct at the retail level, though it did have a period of popularity as a milder alternative to the bigger P91A-style heel curves.
Beyond the curve, Smith's specs are a straightforward 85 flex with "T" shaft. These sticks come from the factory pretty much ready to hit the ice, as Smith notably doesn't use any tape on the knob of his stick.
