What stick does Jonathon Marchessault use?
SPEC CHECK: JONATHAN MARCHESSAULT 🎰
Jonathan Marchessault has been a force for Vegas in the Playoffs, and is currently tied for 3rd in postseason goals among remaining players. Marchy's hattrick in the clincher over Edmonton sent the Golden Knights to the Western Conference Finals for the 3rd time in the past 5 seasons, a remarkable accomplishment for the NHL's 2nd newest franchise.
Marchessault was an original expansion draft pick member of the team in Vegas, and we've been getting his sticks in for a few seasons now. For the most part, his specs have remained unchanged over the last couple of years - Nexus 2N Pro XL build with P28 curve, tactile corners, and the latest Bauer graphic. After using these Hyperlite dressed sticks for much of the year, Marchy has been using AG5NT paint in the Playoffs, but based on the taper it looks like they continue to be the popular 2NPROXL construction.
One thing we have noticed from Marchessault over the years is that his sticks have gotten stiffer. Starting from 77 flex, we have seen him transition to 82 flex, and now 87 flex; a steady increase for the 5'9, 175lb winger. They must be doing something right in the Vegas weight room!
We've just added tons of new Vegas sticks from Marchessault and his Vegas teammates like Eichel, Stephenson, Pietrangelo, and Theodore - head to HockeyStickMan to check them out now!
