With so much uncertainty in the world right now, it's nice to hear more positive news coming out of the hockey industry today. Following the lead of other hockey manufacturers like Bauer and Brian's, CCM announced that they would be temporarily converting production to focus on Personal Protective Equipment to help combat COVID-19.
The company's Montreal facility will be producing up to 150 of these hoods per day with the intention of distributing to healthcare professionals in the Quebec area. Though they still require government certification, the hoods are expected to be an effective preventative measure against the spread of COVID-19, in addition to the 500,000 surgical masks that CCM had previously donated.
Thank you CCM for doing your part and we hope that they will be able to get back to making top end twigs before long!
