What stick does Mark Stone use?
Golden Knights Captain Mark Stone has played a huge part in establishing a culture in Vegas since he was acquired at the Trade Deadline midway through their second NHL season. One of the league's best two way players, Stone uses some no-nonsense specs that match up well with his game.
Don't be confused by the flashy new graphic; like most of the Warrior sticks we have recently gotten in from Mark Stone, these twigs are the QRL build that remains popular at the pro level, even since the release of the QRE and QRE10. The curve does represent a bit of a change from what we have previously seen from Stone. Last season he was using a pattern similar to a P88 with a sawed off square toe, but this year he is using a very straight blade through the heel and midsection, with a toe hook at the end.
These twigs are in Stone's preferred 100 flex, and feature an awesome candy-cane style textured spiral grip. Fans of this page will remember the over the top bulky knob tape job Stone would surely be adding to this stick before hitting the ice. If you bought one of these, would you use that same TJ?
