What stick does Jason Spezza use?
A first ballot member of the "Stick Guy" Hall of Fame, Jason Spezza is well known around the NHL for spending hours in the stick room making sure his tools are perfectly prepped for each game.
This particular stick is an Easton Synergy GX dressed as a Blue 2S Pro, though we also have some Spezza Warriors available. Even though Easton sticks are no longer made at the retail level, pros are still able to get them dressed as Bauers and Spezza is one of the many veteran NHLers to take advantage of that option.
Spezza has always used a high flex, and cycles through sticks quickly in order to keep them feeling stiff. His custom curve is comparable to a Bauer P14M, but he hand shaves down the toe on each stick to his exact specifications. This has gotten him in some trouble over the years, including when he infamously snapped his own stick to try to avoid a penalty.
