The measurement method used to determine goalie stick paddle height varies by brand. For example a 26" CCM is not the same as a 26" Bauer. That is why many retailers (like us) have created a standard way to measure your sticks to ensure you're getting the right size.
How to Measure:
Place your stick on the floor with the curve facing downward. Measure along the back side of the paddle from the bottom of the blade to where the paddle meets the shaft. See illustration above.
Note: the measurement is right where the paddle meets the shaft, not where it flares out at the bottom or the top, keep the measuring tape straight from that point.

If im 5’0 what size sick should i be playing with??
Brandon – you most certainly can! .. I did this for years with Bauer’s until I just couldn’t find anymore. Simply cut cleanly and file down accordingly to smooth out the edges. You can even use a belt sander if handy – it’s quicker this way. I never lost any of my sticks doing this & I have an extreme amount of games under my belt!!! .. approaching 9,000 since 1995! ( yes – I’m one of “those” renta goalie mercs! .. /// SIDENOTE: .. **** DON’T DO THIS **** for composites!! .. I just experienced 2 “FAILS” doing this … :-( … in spite of a ton of care & what seemed to be a wood’ish like composition that can be filed/smoothed down. (( they were free gifts anyhow – & it might not have helped the gifter had left them outside exposed for over a year )) …
So a 25" Warrior CR3 would be equivalent to a 26.5" Bauer Composite (One.9, One.5, etc)?
